Welcoming in fall food szn with a warm bowl of APPLE PIE OATMEAL 🍏🍎🥧 it’s so simple to make right in the microwave and the most perfff cozy breakfast 🍂 let me know your fav fall themed breakfasts in the comments!!
Apple Pie Oatmeal
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1 chopped honeycrisp apple
- pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tbsp ground chia + flax seeds (I used a maple flavor found at Whole Foods!)
- hemp hearts for topping
Instructions:
1. Chop your apple and sprinkle on pumpkin pie spice (if you don’t have it – you can make it yourself combining ground cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, + allspice)
2. Microwave apples in a mug or dish for a minute to heat before topping your oats with them
3. Remove the apples from the microwave and set aside. combine oats and flax or chia seeds with a small amount of water and microwave for 1-2 minutes
4. Top with apples + the hemp hearts and enjoy 😊 I like adding maple syrup, nut butter, or yogurt too!
