Homemade chocolate peppermint bark!π This stuff is so addicting and it always looks too pretty. β€οΈπ€β€οΈπ€ If you canβt get enough of peppermint everything in the winter and you still have some Christmas candy canes left, you have to try!
Method:
β’ bottom layer: combine 1 bag dark chocolate chips + 1 tbsp melted coconut oil on a stovetop to melt (note: you can also melt the chocolate by microwave in intervals)
* pour melted chocolate onto a parchment lined baking sheet and freeze for 10-15 minutes *
β’ second layer: 1 bag of white chocolate chips + 1/2 tsp peppermint extract and 1 tbsp melted coconut oil (same note as above)
* pour this layer over dark chocolate layer and add crushed candy canes on top. Freeze for another 10-15 or until completely hardened before breaking into pieces *
β’ store in the fridge to preserve freshness
