Move over store-bought salsa and make room for homemade grilled pineapple salsa! Whether you prefer pineapple or classic tomato salsa, I love making my own when I can. There’s no denying that you can just tell the difference between homemade and salsa straight from the jar. Plus, it can be more healthier to make your own!
This is what happens when you buy a huge container of pineapples and you have no idea what to do with them🍍✨🍍✨🍍 I hope you try this one out for your next Mexican dinner night or for a summer party as a crowd-pleasing side dish.
This is seriously my new favorite summertime salsa. It’s so easy to throw together in a pinch, and it’s even a great idea to bring to a party for a crowd! You can serve the salsa with tortilla chips or with any Mexican dish. As far as the ingredients go, I went ahead and used up what I had on hand and didn’t measure. You may already have most of these simple ingredients at home already! The pineapple I purchased was already pre-cut from the store, but you can feel free to cut up a whole pineapple instead.
Recipe note: the key to an extra smoky flavor for this salsa is grilling the pineapple first. However, you can completely omit doing so and enjoy as is. Trust me though, grilling them makes SUCH a difference!
