Hear me out: Spotify wrapped but for my camera roll to tell me how many banana breads I made in 2020… 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️😂 If there’s 1 more banana bread recipe you want to try this year, it might as well be this super festive and delicious GINGERBREAD SPICE CRUMB BANANA BREAD! 10/10 you will be craving this even when it’s not gingerbread season. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 mins for your house to smell like Christmas!🎄❤️

Ingredients:

• 4 overripe mashed bananas

2 cups rolled oats, blended into flour

• gingerbread spice (store-bought or a homemade version combining: ground ginger, allspice, cinnamon, ground cloves, nutmeg

• 1/2 cup any milk

• 2 flax eggs or regular

Crumb topping: 1 more overripe mashed banana, 1/2 cup rolled oats (not blended), 1 tsp of extra spice)

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Mash your bananas first then combine the rest of the ingredients. (Note: if using a flax egg, combine 2 tbsp ground flax + 6 tbsp of water and set in the fridge at least 20 minutes before adding in.)

3. Pour batter in a parchment lined baking pan and set aside.

4. Mix the crumb topping ingredients in a separate bowl and pour over the batter.

5. Bake for 30 minutes and enjoy!
