Homemade protein bars anyone??? Sure, you could stock up on all your favorite brands, but have you tried making your own? Once you try, there is no going back! All you have to do is mix up a few simple and healthy ingredients in a bowl, pop them in the freezer, and slice into bars! They turned out super soft, chewy, and make for the perfect filling snack that tastes like a dessert.

Ingredients:
– 1 cup any creamy peanut butter
– 1/4 cup honey or maple strup
– 1/3 cup + 3 tbsp vanilla protein powder
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1 tbsp plant milk of choice
– optional: chocolate chips to top

Instructions:
1. Mix all ingredients above in a bowl until well combined. Dough should be thick.
2. Line a baking loaf pan with parchment paper and press mixture to fit shape. Add optional chocolate chips.
3. Cover with plastic wrap and store in the freezer for 1 hour or more before slicing into rectangles. Store in the fridge or back in the freezer to keep fresh!
