The BEST way to get that apples day in.

How about them (cinnamon) 🍎🍎🍎? Two simple ingredients is all you need for the most satisfying snack or topper for your cereal or toasts EVER. You can either heat a skillet and toss the apples in cinnamon or just follow ~my lazy girl way~ and heat them up in the microwave until golden brown. I used organic medium sized honey crisp apples here, but feel free to use your favorite or whatever you have on hand!

Someone once told me that an apple a day gives you more energy in the morning than a cup of coffee. How so?! Simply put, the juicy fruit contains just the right amount of fiber, vitamins, and carbs that all play into giving you a natural energy boost. Combine that energy boost with the health benefits from cinnamon spice, and you’ve got a power couple over here! That’s right, this it the BEST way to get that apple a day in 😍

Easy Cinnamon Apples

Ingredients:

Apples of choice, however many you have on hand

Ground cinnamon

Instructions:

1. Cut your apple into small cubes and place in a skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle cinnamon over the apples and coat evenly.

2. Let the apples cook until golden brown. (Or following my lazy girl way of making these: place the cubed cinnamon apples in the microwave instead in a bowl or mug!). Enjoy as is or serve over toast, oatmeal or yogurt! These keep int he fridge for up to 1 week if stored in an airtight container.
